If you were gifted an Apple App Store or Google Play Store gift card, you can use it to purchase Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Mobile) on your device.

Before You Start

• You will need:
  • Your gift card code
  • Access to the device you plan to play on
  • A valid Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android)
• Make sure you are signed into the correct account before redeeming the gift card.

For iPhone or iPad (Apple App Store)

Step 1: Redeem the Gift Card

1. Open the App Store.
2. Tap your profile icon (top right).
3. Tap Redeem Gift Card or Code.
4. Enter the code manually or scan it.
5. Tap Redeem.

The gift card balance will now be added to your Apple ID.

Step 2: Purchase Minecraft

1. In the App Store, search for Minecraft.
2. Make sure it is published by Mojang Studios.
3. Tap the price button.
4. Confirm the purchase using Face ID, Touch ID, or your password.

Minecraft will begin downloading automatically.

For Android Devices (Google Play Store)

Step 1: Redeem the Gift Card

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap your profile icon (top right).
3. Tap Payments & Subscriptions.
4. Tap Redeem Code.
5. Enter the gift card code.
6. Tap Redeem.

The balance will be added to your Google account.

Step 2: Purchase Minecraft

1. In the Google Play Store, search for Minecraft.
2. Confirm it is published by Mojang Studios.
3. Tap the price button.
4. Confirm purchase.

Minecraft will download automatically once purchased.

After Installing

1. Open Minecraft.
2. Sign in with a Microsoft account (required for multiplayer).
3. You are now ready to play.

Important Notes

• Gift cards must match the device type (Apple for iPhone/iPad, Google Play for Android).
• Gift cards cannot be used across different platforms.
• Minecraft Mobile is Bedrock Edition.
