Vibrant Visuals is a graphics upgrade that improves lighting, shadows, reflections, and atmospheric effects in Minecraft. It is currently available on Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on supported devices.

How to Enable Vibrant Visuals

  1. Open Minecraft.
  2. Select your World and open Edit World or Create New World.
  3. Go to Settings.
  4. Turn on Vibrant Visuals (sometimes located under Experiments or Video/Graphics Settings depending on the version).
  5. Save and start the world.
  6. You can also adjust additional visual settings under Video Settings → Vibrant Visual Options.

Edition Compatibility

  • Bedrock Edition: Vibrant Visuals is currently available on supported devices.
  • Java Edition: This feature is not available yet. Mojang has announced plans to add it in a future update.

If Vibrant Visuals Is Greyed Out

If the Vibrant Visuals option is greyed out, the system may not currently support the feature due to graphics settings, drivers, or hardware limitations.

Common reasons include:

  • The graphics driver needs to be updated
  • The graphics card does not support the feature
  • The program is using integrated graphics instead of the main GPU
  • Other graphics settings are preventing it from being enabled

What to Try

  1. Update the computer’s graphics drivers.
  2. Restart the computer.
  3. Make sure the system is using the correct graphics card.
  4. Try increasing the graphics quality settings.

If the option is still greyed out after these steps, the device may not support the Vibrant Visuals feature.
